Walter Zueck

The Italo-Swiss Walter Zueck has been the Swiss Ambassador of Co-Liv since 2020. As such, he is very involved in ensuring that Swiss coliving players know each other personally and work together. Walter Zueck is a young at heart hotelier and a coliving enthusiast. Born in South Tyrol, after several professional stints in the local hotel industry and graduating from hotel school, he went on an international journey, working and living in Italy, Switzerland, France, the UK and the US. Since 1994, he has been living near Zurich in Switzerland. For Accor, the world's leading hotel company, he was project manager for the pre-opening of the largest Swiss hotel with 3 hotel brands and a total of 457 rooms in Zurich West. He worked for Accor for more than 25 years in various management functions and countries. From 2017 to 2023, he developed a hybrid hotel and coliving concept for a leading Swiss real estate development company. Walter Zueck talks about coliving, branded hotels, hospitality governance and placemaking. He is the father of 3 children, loves beekeeping and is very interested in the architectural history of the alpine hotel industry.
